American Football, the Army, and AI | Bradley Fraser

In this episode, David sits down with Bradley Fraser, the co-founder of Agentic Intelligence, to discuss his diverse career journey. From professional American football to launching multiple businesses. Bradley delves into the integration of AI into business operations. He shares insights into how AI can optimize processes, reduce costs, and help businesses grow, along with practical advice for anyone looking to get started.

Bradley Fraser's journey has taken him from professional American football in Germany to founding multiple businesses in New Zealand. After serving in the Solomon Islands with the military and lecturing anatomy for military medics, he co-founded Senior Move Managers, helping elderly people transition into retirement villages.

The COVID-19 pandemic prompted Bradley to explore AI solutions when staffing challenges threatened his business. This led to the creation of Agentic Intelligence in 2023, where he now helps businesses implement AI solutions through training, pilot projects, and platform development.

Bradley predicts significant changes in the next 12 months, including the emergence of humanoid robots in New Zealand by year-end. He emphasises that AI isn't about replacing jobs but amplifying human capabilities. His company is focusing on voice AI agents that can handle customer service and educational support, demonstrating practical applications of the technology.

His advice for businesses is straightforward: start with paid AI subscriptions to protect data, experiment with custom GPTs, and use automation platforms like Make or N8. He stresses that professional services and back-office processes will face significant disruption unless they adapt quickly.

Bradley sees AI as an essential business tool, suggesting that action and speed matter more than perfection. He advocates for bringing staff along the journey rather than implementing AI solutions in isolation, emphasising the importance of clear communication and proper management of AI tools.
