November Update

I've shifted to value-based podcasting content and rejoined Bartercard. November showed financial gains despite medical expenses. Our Canterbury pie review page gained radio exposure. West Coast property development plans continue, now focusing on one unit initially. I've invested in Security Matters and installed a stadium time-lapse camera. Despite December's holiday slowdown, I'm energized for 2023.

Monthly Business Update: Progress and New Ventures

As with the last monthly update, I'm going to share the meaningful developments across various business areas.

Exploring New Podcasting Ventures

We're shifting towards more value-based content rather than general updates and rambling. I'm still contemplating whether to apply this same strategy to the blog. Recently, I invested in wireless microphones from AliExpress - at £14, they seem promising, though time will tell if they're a bargain or not.

Bartercard Membership Renewal

I've recently rejoined Bartercard and whilst not fully operational yet, I've already lined up several promising deals. I'm planning to create comprehensive content about how Bartercard works, my reasons for joining, and strategies for maximising its benefits.

November Financial Overview

Last month brought encouraging gains, both in capital growth and cash surplus. However, expenses can spiral quickly, particularly medical costs, which I had previously underestimated. The irony of paying insurance whilst having an exclusion for needed coverage is particularly frustrating. I'm working towards better clarity in my accounting procedures next month, especially regarding credit card transactions and payments.

Pies of Canterbury: A Growing Success

Our Instagram pie review page continues to gain momentum. Nick and I recently enjoyed a radio interview opportunity, distributed some pies, and sampled numerous new flavours. Our new 'pies and cars' series shows particular promise. While monetisation remains a work in progress, we're receiving complimentary pies and making steady progress towards our financial goals.

Weka and West Coast Developments

Progress continues steadily with recent trips including one in a spectacular Z4, courtesy of Eyerwell Forest Motor Company. Construction is scheduled for Q1 next year, beginning with one unit instead of two. We've received valuable advice about mapping future dwelling locations before utility installation, which might delay construction but proves more strategic long-term.

Security Matters Partnership

I'm officially a shareholder in Security Matters, partnering with Ross who has independently managed the business for approximately seven years. We'll collaborate on planning and strategy, and I'm excited about our prospects for 2023 and beyond. This minority shareholding model might serve as a template for future business ventures.

Stadium Time-lapse Project

After initial technical difficulties, we've successfully installed a new camera and begun recording. The first week of footage should be available by mid-December.

December Outlook and Future Plans

Despite December's typically unusual rhythm with Christmas and holiday slowdowns, I'm feeling more energised than ever. I'm well-positioned for the new year and don't anticipate much downtime. While recognising the importance of recharging, I'm experiencing unprecedented enthusiasm and witnessing increasingly positive developments.
