Welcome!

I’m excited to introduce this challenge. It’s something I’ve been working on for the last few months.

Every year when my Birthday approaches I reflect back and also look toward the future. Now that I’m getting closer and closer to 40 I’m becoming more and more conscious of making progress in certain areas.

Having completely both 75Hard and 75Hard Phase One earlier this year I seem to be attracted to the pressure of a challenge, the accountability that comes along with it and overall the idea of having an end point or something to work toward.

That’s when I thought about my financial life and how I really want to be in a position of abundance and having freedom and options to be generous and generally “do more”.

I then though the idea of public accountability and creating content around this could be fun so here goes.

STEP ONE:

Present day - August 25, 2022.

Introduce the basics of the challenge via an updated davidmelse.com website. There’s still some historical content on here that I’ll leave. Semi regular blog posts on how it’s going, what I’m learning. Answering any questions along the way and generally sharing the journey. I’ll be using Instagram as my primary social media account as well

STEP TWO:

August 25, 2022 - August 25, 2032

This is the 10 year window that I have to generate $10 million. At some point I’ll create a seperate article on the definitive rules that I’ll be adhering too and what the details are. Eg is it $10 million on top of what I’ve already got etc

STEP THREE:

Once I’m up and running I plan on running a podcast to talk about the challenge, invite interesting guests on and to try and share this challenge with as many people as possible. I feel like it’s an interesting concept and something that has so far gathered interest and curiosity from most people I’ve talked to about it

I’m a big fan of done being better than perfect and short and sweet vs over thinking. Taking A LOT of action is going to be required to win this challenge so I’ll leave it there for now.
